Primary headache and factors associated in university students: a cross sectional study

Introduction: Primary headaches, defined as disorders in themselves caused by independent pathomechanisms and not other disorders, are prevalent university students considered one important health problems the world. Objective: To investigate prevalence of primary headaches analyze associations with sociodemographic characteristics use electronic devices students. Methods: A cross-sectional observational study analysis was carried out a sample 1,143 both genders who responded to questionnaire on demographic, socioeconomic aspects, devices, headaches. Descriptive analysis, bivariate Poisson regression were performed. Results: The overall headache 60.7%, being that, relation type, 33.2% presented tension-type headache, 54.3% migraine, 12.3% types headache.
